Take a trip back to 1965, when Dr. Fran Tanner joined the College of Southern Idaho campus as one of its first instructors, sparking a love for English, theater, and speech. Even before the campus was built, students were already buzzing with excitement in 1966. Fran directed three captivating one-act plays at the YMCA-YWCA Building - Opening Night by Roland Fernand, The Rising of the Moon by Lady Gregory, and Neighbors by Zona Gale. In celebration of the college’s 60th anniversary, the talented CSI Theater Program students will be honoring the past and bringing these classic plays back to life on stage!
